  The Captive is one of the most teeth clattering murder mystery I have ever read so far. The book revolves around a girl kruthi escaping from her captive resulting in unveiling at least 15 different murder cases. It takes us on a ride of the whole mind gripping hunt for the "BOSS"  the mastermind behind all the accurately planned murders, with every clue found resulting into dead end. The book explores social crimes like kidnapping, murder, rape, torture etc along with psychological issues of associated with deep rooted upbringing issues and their outcomes on personality of a human. 

what I Loved most about this book is how author has portrayed all the lead women character, Intelligent, Strong, Independent, and courageous, all the women in the book understands each others pain and supports each other in fulfilling each others goals, beautiful depiction of a progressive India I think the book is more than a story about murder mystery Investigation, it talks about a one can be captive of their ow thoughts and deep rooted parental issues. The book mentions how the culprits turned out how they are due to the circumstances in their initial life and one of the character chose to be different path to improve his life.

 The plot is very well written and scripted, where everything falls into places at the end, however the end left me wondering why "The Boss" turned out to evil, his emotional and scares have not been explored.

I would definitely recommend this book to all suspense lovers out there. 😊
